Senior Ad Sales Manager Central Europe
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve submitted Budget Targets in Central Europe markets accordingly to the budgeted channel performance KPIs:
- On-going management of sales KPI's - inventory opened, adjustments, CPP pricing setting and monitoring, managing external Sales Agents partners and driving proactive approach to the sales
- Securing new revenue streams coming from non-spot sales development, by introducing new joint sales strategy approach to the market, addressing prospects and evaluating market needs.
- Development of new products / offers for sales e.g.: short form content; new non-spot formats
- Analyse market opportunities, research material and look for new streams of revenue
- Map and understand client needs, buying criteria and available spend; create deals and manage the deal process through to successful execution
- Execute ad sales strategy within the Central Europe Region.
- Monitor sales KPI's and deliver insights to higher tiers and E+A structure, ensuring consistency of data and information provided
- Execute pan European campaigns on local grounds with production support included when localisation needed
- Follow all internal processes and workflows, with GRE policy and monitoring plan included
- Build TWDC offer awareness among key clients and media houses through B2B marketing activities.
- Manage annual B2B plan and budget
- Plan, execute promotional activities, addressing best opportunities and leverage TWDC assets and programming for clients communication purposes
- Plan, execute roadshow presentations among media agencies and direct clients
- Maintain and develop external relationships; execute individual plan for client’s / agencies meetings to build up independent market relationships;
- Support ad rep's activities with relevant materials. Putting pressure on TWDC visibility in ad rep's trade marketing.
- Promote ad sales culture and drive excellence among the TWDC team:
- Ensure alignment of ad sales operations with internal audit procedures and guidelines
- leverage on know-how and experience from other regions, share local achievements and insights with other FNG territories and departments
- Support paneuropean sales with execution of deals and preparing offers
- On-going daily co-operation with all departments heads to address possible areas for ad sales developments
- Manage the team / direct reports:
- Manages and motivates people (even those with no direct reporting line) to get results
- Fully engaged in getting the best out of Account Managers/reps
- Energetically setting targets, giving feedback, challenging, coaching and developing to maximise motivation and results
- Proactively addresses underperformance and develops potential
Skills and competences required:
- Full Ad Sales skill set and tactics; negotiation skills; project management skills
- Great analytical skills – able to understand the market, draw conclusions and recommend course of action to Ad Sales Director and relevant others
- Great communication skills, articulate, engaging, uses the right information and encourages others to share
- A natural talent to develop strong external connections: strong socializer and networker, developing meaningful relationships
- Ability to pitch discussion and negotiate at the right level and in the best style for the client
- Strong consumer understanding and client focused; Proactively find new business, new clients and leverages existing assets
- Uses application of strategy and commercial understanding to support Account Managers and Account Executives to develop accounts and grow market share
- Deliver sales management administration accurately – set realistic targets, accurately forecasts, completes all reporting
- Team player but must be able to work independent as well
- Languages: Fluent English
- IT competences: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, TechEdge/Arianna would be additional asset
- Knowledge of TWDC channels and media brands
