Working Pattern: Hybrid Working (Home-based plus two/three days a week in the office).
Reporting to the On Air Planning Manager, the role is responsible for co-ordinating, managing and timing the relevant components of the presentation schedule, delivering fully transmittable TV schedules ensuring they are accurate for transmission.
Main Responsibilities
- End-to-end responsibility for the presentation schedules, delivering highly accurate and fully transmittable playlists to the external Playout provider. Working on a minimum of two channels within a portfolio of BBC branded TV channels broadcasting in multiple territories.
- Ensure the appropriate versions of programmes are scheduled according to their published transmission time, liaising closely with the Programming Team.
- Manage schedule amendments, including last-minute changes.
- Responsible for accurate entry of all promotions and versions into a central database.
- Ensure schedules are optimised for commercial minutage and liaise with external commercial sales houses.
- Work with the Media Planning team to accurately deliver media plans containing promotions, continuity and on-screen graphics, maximising effectiveness of campaigns.
- To liaise with all internal and external data & media suppliers.
- To occasionally provide out-of-hours cover for all linear channels.

Relationships
Regular face-to-face, video, phone and email contact to provide, receive and exchange information with Programming, Creative/Production, Compliance, External Playout, External Sales Houses, and the wider Presentation and Media Planning team based in Amsterdam, London and Warsaw.

Professional Experience
- Previous experience using a channel management/scheduling system within a linear TV channel environment.
- Awareness of the BBC portfolio of channel brands including BBC First, BBC Earth, BBC Lifestyle and BBC Brit.
- Previous experience or demonstrable knowledge of Video On Demand media and platforms desirable.
